Meet the teachers!
Miss Siyana Doychinova is part of our team since 2020. She loves to help young children grow and make discoveries.
What is your name, how do children call you?
My name is Siyana Doychinova. The children call me Miss Siyana.
Tell us something about your education and experience.
I studied Information Technology – bachelor’s degree. I worked in kindergartens for 6 years and 3 years
as a babysitter.
What is your favorite part of the day as a teacher?
Every time I see happy children around me is like a little celebration for the day.
What inspires you to keep working with children in pre-school age?
To be a teacher of preschoolers is challenging but very satisfying for me. Therefore, seeing the result of
my work inspires me to keep developing and understanding the children’s world better.
How do you motivate children?
I am trying to be prepared for any situation with different kinds of games because playing is the most
important part of their lives. While playing, children problem-solve, they develop their imagination and
creativity. Playing motivates them to do many things.
How do you face difficult challenges throughout the day at school?
Patience and love are my secrets. And again, all challenges can be dealt with through playing.
Do you notice any changes in children’s behavior for the past few years?
What is the best part of being a teacher?
The most touching thing is when I hear ‘I love you Miss Siyana’, which melts my heart and is the best part
of being a teacher.
What sort of morning routine do you have to get ready and in the mood for the class?
In the morning I always say, ‘It’s a beautiful day and we will have fun’, and it happens.
What is your favorite child book/author and why?
‘The Rainbow Fish’ by Marcus Pfister– It is a beautiful story about friendship and selfishness, and perfect
for story time.
