Little Ladybirds are children aged between 20 months and 2 years at the start of the school year. They learn language and cumminication, foundational social-emotional skills, and ways to keep healthy and moving. They develop their understanding of the natural and social world through careful exposure to play opportunities in a variety of contexts. Children regularly enjoy music class, carpet and story time and walks in nature. They learn to focus and extend their play for a longer time. They are encouraged to become skilled and independent in many age appropriate tasks.

Daily Routine
8.00 am: arrival, play and small group activities
9.45 am: morning snack
10.00 Music time or Fun Gym Class with Mr Takeshi on Tuesdays
10.30 am: Circle time and large group activities – songs, games, stories, drama, etc.
11.00 am: physical education and outdoor play
12.00 am: lunch
1.00 pm: afternoon nap
3.00 pm: afternoon snack
3.20 pm: Closing circle and activities;
4.00 pm: free play indoors or outdoors and pick up me
6.00 pm: school closes
