Born and raised in Aruba, Melissa grew up multilingual and in a very multicultural environment.
She met her husband in Aruba but moved abroad with him a year after. She has a degree in hospitality management. After moving to Bulgaria she certified as an English teacher, through which she discovered a love for working with young children. She comes to ICCC with experience from other International schools and Kindergartens.
In addition to working as a teacher, she enjoys traveling, reading, and baking. She has two children.
